No Treats For Obama Supporters (It’s Ludicrous)

Is this presidential race getting rediculous or what?  I mean it’s expected that candidates are going to get at each other a little bit in any race for office.  They are going to call each other into question in order to drum up support… but, in my opinion, things have gotten a little out of control… especially with supporters of the candidates… and even more so with supporters of John McCain who have been consistently spouting racist and uninformed banter in ”support” of their candidate.  The lastest in the form of ludicrousness comes from Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan where a woman… Shirley Nagel to be exact… have to put this broad on blast… refused to pass out candy to kids who’s parents supported Democrat Barack Obama for President.  Nagel posted a sign outside of her home that read “No handouts for Obama supporters, liars, tricksters or kids of supporters”

How stupid, petty and ignorant is this!  I mean… really… let’s be serious here.  It’s ok to be passionate about your candidate… in this case we know that Nagel must support McCain… but don’t take out your personal feelings with Barack Obama and those who support him… on fuckin’ kids… who haven’t the foggiest clue why their parents even support who they support.  The kids just want their candy!  They don’t care who wins!  This is a prime example of adults acting like children to voice their displeasure with what is going on around them… it’s akin to telling the outcast kid in school that nobody plays with that he can’t play in the sandbox… just straight up childish… and ignorant too. 

To top it off… when Nagel was asked about the children that she turned away in tears… she just said “Oh well.  Everybody has a choice.”  Really?  Those kids that you turned away?  They had a choice?  Ms. Nagel… you had a choice… to be a decent human being with integrity… or to be a cackling ignorant witch… unfortunately, you chose to cast spells of evil. 

Here’s hoping the country chooses wisely on November 4th.  VOTE OBAMA!
